Smash Mouth Rings-in the New Year!
Smash Mouth counted down to 2005 at the Tempe Arizona Fiesta Bowl Block Party. The guys played a live set
and conducted the midnight countdown along with the Mayor of Tempe. The whole thing was aired live on NBC KPNX Channel 12 in Arizona.
PD & The Martinis
Smash Mouth bassist Paul DeLisle handled the low end duties for The Martinis on their latest CD 'Smitten'. The Southern California based band features guitarist Joey Santiago (of alt-rock legends The Pixies) and his wife, singer/songwriter Linda Mallari. Drums were provided by session-master Josh Freese (A Perfect Circle). The CD is definitely worth a listen, so check it out if you get a chance...

You Are My Number One
Smash Mouth once agained teamed up with songwriting legend Neil Diamond for 'You Are My Number One', the first single from 'Get The Picture?'. "You Are My Number One" also features some fine toasting by The English Beat's Ranking Roger. Check out the Video Page to watch "You Are My Number One" now.
The Cat in the Hat
Listen for Smash Mouth's version of the Beatles' classic 'Getting Better' which appears in the Mike Myers' live-action version of Dr. Seuss' The Cat In The Hat. The song 'Hang On' (Smash Mouth's second single from 'Get The Picture?') is also featured on the official soundtrack.
Shagadelic
World-renowned artist Shag (aka Josh Agle) provided the super-cool CD artwork for Smash Mouth's "Get The Picture?". Agle's depictions of the "Swinger's Life" have graced the walls of galleries on four continents and are the favorites of celebrities and connoisseurs alike. "We were stoked to finally work with Shag" says guitarist Greg Camp. "We'd been after him to do the artwork for the last few records but it didn't work out until now."
Riding On The Metro
Guitarist/songwriter Greg Camp was featured in Smash Mouth's hometown weekly newspaper The San Jose Metro, which named Greg a "Silicon Valley Star" in their "Best of 2003" issue and mentioned that "From 'Shrek' and 'Goldmember' to car commercials and Smash Mouth's fourth album 'Get The Picture?', Greg Camp's songwriting continues to keep us entertained."
Smash Mouth & Toys R Us
To celebrate the release of 'Get The Picture?', Smash Mouth recently met fans and signed copies of the new CD at the Manhattan location of Toys R' Us. Smash Mouth is the first and only band in the history of Toys R' Us to have its CDs available for sale at the international retail chain.
Pacific Coast Party
Smash Mouth bassist Paul DeLisle was featured in a recent issue of Surftrip Journal - a Japanese surf magazine that focuses on California beach culture. Paul is an avid surfer and can often be found riding waves along the California coast when not on tour handling Smash Mouth's bottom end.
